The Trial Abuser Who Used 47 Different Email Addresses

Same IP address. Same device. Different email every three days. Free service for months. A vigilant British IPTV reseller blocks by device ID and IP range, not just email. An IPTV Reseller Panel with fingerprinting catches abusers who think changing email addresses makes them invisible. One reseller I know exported their IPTV Reseller Panel trial logs and sorted by MAC address. One device had 47 trial accounts over four months. Same hardware. Same person. The reseller blacklisted that device ID. The abuse stopped immediately.

The pattern most miss is email pattern matching, especially with British IPTV where abusers use sequential Gmail addresses. Honestly, a panel without regex blocking for "user1@gmail, user2@gmail" leaves you vulnerable. A quick scenario: a reseller configured their British IPTV panel to reject trials from any email containing a number at the end—john123, mary456—because abusers use numbered aliases. False positives were minimal. Trial abuse dropped by 70%. One setting change. Massive impact.
